Middle Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Middle Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript) to help build and enhance a suite of modern trading products and web applications.

The successful candidate will contribute to creating responsive, high-performance user interfaces across trading platforms, corporate websites, and account management systems. This is an opportunity to work with a modern frontend technology stack and tackle interesting engineering challenges involving real-time data, scalability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development & Performance

• Develop fast, responsive, and reliable web applications using React and TypeScript
  

• Build and maintain core product features, including trading interfaces, user dashboards, and account management functionality
  

• Ensure smooth handling of real-time data streams while maintaining performance and responsiveness for a large active user base
  

• Optimize frontend applications for speed, stability, and scalability
  

System Integration

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and connect frontend applications with external services
  

• Work on integrations involving trading platforms, payment providers, and analytics solutions such as PostHog
  

• Implement and maintain real-time communication through WebSockets and Server-Sent Events (SSE)
  

Code Quality & Collaboration

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend development standards
  

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and continuously improve existing products
  

Technology Stack

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Zustand, Vite
  

• Real-Time Communication: WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE)
  

• Analytics & Monitoring: PostHog, Grafana, and other monitoring tools
  

• Development & Infrastructure: GitLab CI/CD, Docker
  

Requirements

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience developing and maintaining production-grade web applications
  

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
  

• Practical experience building applications that rely on real-time data and communication protocols such as WebSockets
  

• Experience optimizing frontend performance, responsiveness, and application stability
  

• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling, including Vite and state management libraries such as Zustand
  

• Understanding of product analytics and event tracking, ideally with tools such as PostHog
  

• Ability to write maintainable code and collaborate effectively within an engineering team
  

Nice to Have

• Previous experience or knowledge of trading platforms, financial markets, or fintech products
  

• Experience handling high-frequency data streams and real-time data visualization
  

• Background in developing responsive interfaces for gaming or trading applications
