Middle QA Engineer (Mobile, Manual & Automation)
Our client is a leading financial institution driving digital transformation across its core products. You will join the Digital Technology Product Organization (DTPO), working in a cross-functional Agile squad to build and maintain next-generation mobile banking solutions. The team focuses on delivering secure, stable, and seamless mobile experiences for millions of users.
Responsibilities
Perform both manual and automated testing of mobile applications (iOS & Android)
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Kotlin, Appium, Selenide, and Rest Assured
Work with tools such as Charles Proxy (or similar) for traffic inspection and debugging
Analyze logs and identify issues across multiple environments
Create and maintain test documentation (Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases)
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers within Agile squads
Participate in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
Test using real devices, emulators, and device farms
Requirements
3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices
Hands-on experience with Java, Appium, Kotlin, Selenide, and Rest Assured
Experience with Charles Proxy or similar tools (e.g., Fiddler, Proxyman) for traffic and network debugging
Solid understanding of mobile platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and logging systems
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
