Middle Office - Product Control Analyst
You will act as an essential link between the Trading team and Management, ensuring accurate reporting and robust financial controls across cryptocurrency and digital asset products. You will independently validate and analyze trading P&L and risk, resolve discrepancies quickly, and provide insightful analysis to key stakeholders. You will also contribute to control design for new financial instruments and trading strategies.
Responsibilities
- Compile substantiate and report daily P&L and balance sheet movements across cryptocurrency and digital asset products
- Execute daily trade and position reconciliations across internal systems and exchange platforms to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Provide analysis of P&L drivers risk exposures and market trends to Management and the Trading team
- Act as a credible partner to the Front Office Market Risk and Operations teams
- Identify and execute efficiency and control improvements within the Middle Office workflow
- Contribute to control design and operational readiness for new financial instruments and trading strategies
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a Middle Office Product Control or Financial Control function, ideally within a bank or FinTech firm
- Keen interest in understanding financial instruments/products, especially in digital asset or traditional fixed income/FX space
- Good Excel and VBA skills for reporting and automation
