Middle Python (Django) Developer (EdTech)

Builds and maintains EdTech platforms using Python, Django, and React.js to enhance online learning experiences on Open edX.
We’re looking for an experienced Python (Django) Developer to work on projects in the EdTech domain. At Raccoon Gang, we believe technology can transform learning. Requirements:
- Commercial experience with Python (2+ years).
- Proven experience with: Django, DRF, Docker ecosystem, Celery, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of: SQL, React.js.
- Experience with Claude Code/Codex.
- Modern WEB development understanding (HTML5, CSS, browser API, etc.).
- Understanding TDD and BDD development processes.
- Understanding Serverless architecture.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with NoSQL.
Responsibilities:
- Development of new functionality and modules of the system.
- Participate in feature design and estimations.
- Mentoring junior developers.
