Middle QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript)
Summary
Develops and maintains automated test suites for a fintech product, focusing on JavaScript, REST APIs, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber to ensure software reliability and scalability in high-traffic environments.

Location — EU, CIS countries and Georgia
Important:
Working hours in Armenia: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
We are only considering your full-time employees.
This is a long-term project with an indefinite duration. We are currently only reviewing candidates—there is no confirmed start date yet.
Preliminary requirements:
-Strong JavaScript skills and solid commercial experience with automated testing.
-Basic understanding of Cucumber or equivalent BDD experience.
-Good understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and Postman or equivalents.
-Experience maintaining test plans, test cases, and defects.
-Daily use of Git.
-Confidence working with existing codebases.
-English for day-to-day technical communication.
Nice to have:
-Hands-on experience with Cucumber or an equivalent BDD framework.
-AWS or another public cloud.
-Docker.
-Basic SQL.
-Chrome DevTools.
-Load or performance test automation.
-Background in subscription, payments, streaming, or other high-traffic product environments.
-Experience integrating AI tools into test automation.
