Summary

As a Middle+ QA Engineer on the Fintech Core project, you ensure the quality of a modular fintech platform (digital banking, payment products) by designing test strategies, executing API and integration testing, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You work with web/mobile apps, use Postman for APIs, and collaborate with development teams.

POSITION OVERBIEW

As a Junior+ QA Engineer on the Fintech Core project, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of a white-label modular fintech platform designed for rapid launch of digital banking and payment products.
The platform delivers a full technology stack, including a general ledger, middleware, mobile and web applications, and integrations with third-party providers for KYC, payments, card issuing, and compliance.
You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, creating detailed test cases, performing API and integration testing, and identifying risks across complex financial workflows. A key part of your work will involve ensuring data integrity, transaction accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and security standards.
This role offers hands-on experience testing financial systems at scale, with exposure to payment processing, card networks, digital wallets, cross-border transactions, and compliance frameworks across multiple fintech implementations globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform functional, regression, integration, acceptance, and E2E testing of web/mobile applications
Execute API testing using Postman, including scenario scripting for complex workflows
Validate UI/UX for web (React) and native mobile (iOS/Android) apps
Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports, test reports)
Analyse feature requirements, participate in grooming sessions, and ensure test coverage before development starts
Take ownership of QA deliverables within a sprint
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Contribute to QA process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team

YOUR BACKGROUND

2+ years of commercial experience testing web and mobile applications
Strong knowledge of QA methodology and SDLC practices
Hands-on experience in REST API testing with Postman (advanced scripting, collections, environments)
Proven experience in writing and maintaining structured test documentation (Zephyr or similar)
Understanding of client-server and microservices architectures
Basic knowledge of SQL and working with databases
Experience with GitHub
Experience with Charles Proxy tool
English - B1+

Skills will be a plus:
Experience with programming languages JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation or scripting
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki
Experience in fintech or other compliance-heavy domains
Experience in performance and load testing, preferably using k6 or JMeter
