Middle School Art Teacher

The Oceanport Board of Education has an opening for a Middle School Art Teacher effective March 1, 2027.

Required Certifications:

• New Jersey Teacher of Art Certification

Successful Candidates Must Possess the Following:

• Understanding of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Visual and Performing Arts
• Knowledge of middle school educational philosophy and practices
• Ability to encourage, support, and enhance students' development and conceptualization of ideas and their ability to convey meaning through art
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills to relate effectively with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community

Salary Range - $61,985 - $62,735

Benefits: This position includes eligibility for health insurance, paid sick and personal days, and enrollment in the Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF). This position is represented by the Oceanport Education Association.
