Middle/Senior QA Engineer

Summary

QA Engineer designs, runs, and automates tests for software, focusing on API and UI checks while using Azure DevOps and Postman in a hybrid role.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid quality engineering role with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.

Required Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance;
Proven experience in test automation and a strong interest in expanding automation coverage;
Understanding of automation frameworks, test design principles, and CI/CD practices;
Proficiency in API testing and interpreting API documentation, including endpoints, authentication methods, request/response structures, and JSON payloads;
Experience using Postman or similar API testing tools;
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including work item management, project hierarchies, iterations, and workflows;
Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Test Cases, and bug tracking;
Solid SQL knowledge and practical experience working with databases;
Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English proficiency, both written and spoken;
Experience with AI-powered tools for software testing, quality assurance, or productivity enhancement;
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Perform exploratory, functional, regression, and automation testing activities;
Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases;
Develop and enhance automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency;
Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports;
Execute comprehensive API testing and validate API contracts, including endpoints, authentication methods, request/response structures, and JSON payloads;
Utilize Postman or similar tools for API testing;
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with clear and detailed reproduction steps;
Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders;
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle;
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to QA processes, testing strategies, and automation frameworks;
Utilize Azure DevOps for work item management, test planning, test execution, and defect tracking.
