Middle Solution Engineer
We are looking for a Middle Solution Engineer to join our team and support the successful integration and deployment of autonomous systems.
In this role, you will serve as the primary technical interface for partners, helping them integrate and deploy software and hardware solutions into their platforms. You will work closely with partners to understand their technical requirements, configure and adapt existing solutions, contribute to software development, and ensure successful implementation.
You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges, support product improvements, and help deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with customer collaboration and system-level problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for partners throughout integration and deployment projects
Integrate partner systems with software and hardware solutions both remotely and on-site
Configure, customize, and adapt existing solutions to meet partner requirements
Contribute to the development of software solutions, from standalone applications and plugins to the main software codebase
Manage software releases, including build preparation, release creation, testing, and resolving release-related issues
Validate software releases before they are delivered to operational teams
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver new features and improvements
Translate partner requirements into clear technical specifications aligned with product capabilities
Troubleshoot software, hardware, and system integration issues, escalating complex challenges when required
Support system validation, field testing, and deployment activities
Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of engineering processes
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with C++ and Python and comfortable working in Linux (Ubuntu)
Experience with embedded systems, robotics, UAVs, or other autonomous systems
Experience working with real hardware and integrating software with hardware components
Understanding of common embedded communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART
Experience with system integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
Basic understanding of electronics and system-level interactions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, take responsibility for tasks, and drive them to completion
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other teams
Willingness to travel for on-site integration, testing, and deployment activities
