Middlware Engineer
Summary
Administers and supports enterprise middleware platforms like WebLogic or WebSphere, ensuring system performance, security, and high availability for applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and support enterprise middleware platforms.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Perform middleware upgrades, patching, deployments, and maintenance activities.
- Support application deployments and work closely with infrastructure and development teams.
- Maintain system security, documentation, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Middleware Administration.
- Hands-on experience with one or more middleware platforms such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, IIS, or Oracle HTTP Server.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell) and automation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
