MILITARY PAY TECHNICIAN

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce positions of the to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: As a Military Pay Technician you will perform comprehensive review of military pay documents, forms, orders, and vouchers for service members. You will provide military entitlements, pay, and benefits guidance and support to multiple individuals and organizations.

Audit a variety of military pay actions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Provide military entitlements, pay and benefits technical guidance to Soldiers, Units, and Army Finance Offices.

Provide assistance to personnel on all military pay inquiries.

Utilize various automated military pay and travel systems to review vouchers for payment.

Interpret data from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) to determine and initiate the appropriate actions.

Provide direct service support to all deployed and non-deployed service members.

Process documents electronically through a variety of automated pay systems.

Audit pay to determine validity of over and under payment claims.
