MILLING MACHINE SETTER-OPERATOR (METALWORKING)
Summary
Operates and sets up CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment, ensuring production quality and meeting deadlines with occasional overtime and rotating shifts.
- Set-up and Operate CNC Milling machines
- Check materials and prepare tools required for production.
- Familiar with CNC machines, tooling, machine capabilities and machining techniques
- Perform daily housekeeping and any other duties assigned
- Carry out process measurement and ensure product's quality.
- Monitor process & machines discrepancy and report to respective Leader.
- Maintain daily production outputs.
- Carries out duties as assigned by production supervisor.
- Preferably up to 5 years experience in setting up and operating CNC Milling centre
- Able to interpret mechanical drawing & symbols
- Good communication skills and able to work as a team.
- Able to handle work under pressure and meeting dateline.
- Overtime is NEEDED on weekdays, weekends and sometimes public holidays (when necessary)
- Able to work rotating shift (Night Shift).
