Job Description: Drafter

Location: Mentor, OH, 44060

We are seeking a skilled drafter to join our team in Mentor, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for a variety of one-of-a-kind projects, Projects will include the libraries, kitchens, offices and great rooms of luxurious homes and yachts. The drafter will work closely with engineers, architects, and other internal team-members to ensure that designs are accurate, complete, and meet all necessary specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Create technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that designs are accurate, complete, and meet all necessary specifications
• Review and revise drawings and plans as necessary
• Ensure that all drawings and plans are in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings and plans
• Communicate with internal and external clients as necessary

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in drafting OR 3+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including 3D modeling experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in high-end millwork environment is a plus
