Mine Engineering Manager

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute the inflow management strategy
  • Direct underground and surface exploration and remediation programs
  • Deliver large industrial projects with complex underground mining/external stakeholder interfaces
  • Manage internal and external engineering and geoscience resources
  • Responsible for oversight of project development, design, cost control, scheduling and execution
  • Collaborate with site and central leadership to achieve company objectives

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience required.
  • Education and Experience: Engineering or Geoscience degree from accredited university with related experience
  • Must be registered with APEGS or equivalent provincial regulatory authority
  • Must have operational, safety, and technical knowledge on an Industrial/Mine site
  • Experience with drilling, dewatering, grouting, and/or backfill systems is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary, cross‑functional project environments modeling safety, integrity, accountability, respectful communication, emotional intelligence, and an ownership mindset while influencing without authority and reinforcing a healthy team culture
  • Potash industry experience is an asset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to develop technical and analytic skills to excel in a complex operating environment Strong computer skills are required, including the use of MS Office, Oracle Enterprise, and CAD programs
