Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Mineral Title Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil and gas law, with a focus on title examination and regulatory compliance. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the legal integrity of mineral title transactions and providing legal guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough title examinations and prepare title opinions for mineral properties.
- Advise clients on oil and gas law, property rights, and mineral leasing issues.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements
- Perform due diligence on mineral titles and assist in the acquisition and divestiture of mineral interests.
- Ensure compliance with land use regulations and other relevant legal requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting mineral rights and oil and gas operations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Licensed to practice in MT, WY, ND, UT, or CO
- 2+ years of experience in mineral title examination and oil and gas law.
- Strong knowledge of title examination processes and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and present findings clearly.
