The Mission Planner 1 is responsible for analyzing all trips to determine any issues and best-use scenarios. Mission Planner is tasked to best analyze trip feasibility and provide recommendations to the Owner Services and Flight Control teams and provide the best option for potential trip outcomes for customers. Additionally, Mission Planners will play a crucial role in coordinating international trip demand for Airshare. They will be supporting Flight Control as needed. This position will require you to work in the Corporate Headquarters office located in Overland Park, KS. This is not a remote or hybrid role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform initial and final reviews for all Fractional & Managed trips.
- Trip reviews include the following:
- Weather
- TFR’s/NOTAM’s
- AC performance including review of the fuel-stop inspection report, high altitude report, etc.
- Minimum Zero Fuel Weight
- Fuel data is entered and accurate
- Communicate any pertinent trip impacting information to the Owner Services and Flight Control teams
- Completed trip review noted in FMS for Owner Services and Flight Control to review
- Review Airport information for accuracy and current events
- Coordinate and manage all international trip demand for Airshare.
- International trips coordination/management includes the following:
- File eAPIS, generate General Declarations, submit Private Letters, coordinate Landing, and over-fly permits
- Set up ground handling for flights at non-US airports and coordinate with local FBOs and service providers for fuel, catering, ground needs, etc.
- Coordinate with US Customs and CBP for all international trip needs
- Maintain relationships with third-party international handlers as needed for supplemental international trip support
- Perform other duties and assignments as required
