Mission Support Branch Chief
As the Mission Support Branch Chief, you will manage highly complex analyses to assess varied, unique business needs and develop innovative, high-impact solutions for customer agencies. Location determined upon selection. This position is within the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) Service Center, responsible for acquisition management of information technology and professional services contracts. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Plans and carries out major initiatives and priorities related to the assigned program, which includes defining, developing, and implementing new policies, processes, and procedures designed to enhance overall program performance. Serve as the authoritative expert for the Branch on the interpretation and application of highly complex, broad, or conflicting Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency policies, specifically related to IT and Professional Services acquisitions. Directs the creation of comprehensive program performance reports, financial forecasts, and budgetary execution analyses for presentation to executive leadership. Translate complex operational and financial data into strategic recommendations that inform agency-level resource allocation, goal setting, and long-range planning. Represents the Division/Branch as the principal liaison and subject matter expert in high-level interagency working groups. Facilitates stakeholder relationships, information exchange, and satisfaction by establishing effective internal and external lines of communications. Supervises a staff responsible for performing varied and highly complex pre and post- award delegated COR duties for high-value contracts and task orders for the acquisition/procurement of Information Technology and/or Professional services. Provides authoritative guidance to staff in resolving precedent-setting technical and project management issues during the development of internal customer requirements, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks remains strictly aligned with all contractual terms and conditions.
