MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

As an MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST, you will implement, coordinate, evaluate, and provide guidance to management and employees on a variety of administrative and operational programs..

The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.

Maintain data integrity to generate staffing reports, review job analyses and position descriptions, track performance plans, and provide technical troubleshooting and user support for time and attendance systems.

Manage and support a variety of administrative specialty areas, including hiring and onboarding, position management, timekeeping, and performance management.

Provide guidance and assistance to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding administrative programs, laws, policies, and practices.

Support workforce planning activities, monitor staffing levels, identify workforce gaps, and assist in the development and implementation of workforce initiatives.

Oversee performance management programs, inform managers on performance issues, and coordinate personnel actions such as recruitment, promotions, details, reassignments, and separations.

Utilize human resource (HR) systems to enter, update, and monitor recruitment, performance, and a variety of personnel-related information.

Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
