Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, San Juan Field Office, San Juan, Puerto Rico. This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO). This position requires employees to provide guidance and technical advice in a variety of mission support functional areas for a Field Office or Port of Entry. This position starts at a salary of $61,722.00 (GS-09, Step 1) to $80,243.00 (GS-09, Step 10). Salary above excludes COLA. Major duties for this position include: Performing management advisory services for specific requests related to immediate problems of limited scope. Analyzing segments of broader issues or problems. Verifying and assessing relevant facts from several sources, examines documentation. Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procedures. Analyzing and reconciling discrepancies or inconsistencies.
