As a Mission Support Specialist, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties: Applies detailed knowledge of financial oversight, budget formulation, and budget execution policies, regulations, procedures, and guidelines to analyze requirements, support resource planning, monitor execution, and recommend improvements to budget processes and controls. Applies knowledge of contracting methods, contract types, procurement requirements, and related policies to analyze complex acquisition and procurement issues, identify risks or deficiencies, and recommend alternative courses of action to support effective program operations. Analyzes, interprets, and evaluates human resources management concepts, principles, regulations, and policies related to position management, staffing and hiring plans, workforce requirements, and organizational structures; provides recommendations to improve alignment with mission needs and administrative requirements. Provides technical guidance and advice to lower-graded employees, supervisors, managers, and program officials on administrative and mission support matters; coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex program issues and support implementation of findings, recommendations, and process improvements.
