Mixer Truck Driver

Position Purpose
This Mixer Truck Driver operates the ready-mix concrete truck delivering to the Precast Plant.
Responsibilities

Deliver concrete to production area according to direction from bed personnel
Coordinate pouring of concrete with designated production area associates
Check fluid levels, perform minor maintenance on truck or request maintenance when necessary
Maintain preventative maintenance program on all batch plant equipment
Operate mixer on truck, make judgements regarding the slumps of concrete
Operate loader and help with plant maintenance when needed
Meet production concrete delivery schedules
Use computerized batching systems
Properly load truck, drive truck safely in yard, discharge concrete from truck to forms
Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations
