ML Engineer

Location: Remote

We are looking for an experienced ML Engineer to join a Canadian banking project focused on building a production-grade MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.

The ideal candidate has strong Python and Machine Learning / AI experience, along with hands‑on expertise in MCP, Databricks, and Azure. Experience with AWS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a production‑grade MCP server
• Build and integrate ML/AI capabilities using Python
• Work with Databricks for data and ML workflows
• Develop and deploy solutions within Azure
• Integrate MCP with cloud services, data sources, and external systems
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability of the solution
• Follow best practices for testing, deployment, and production readiness
• Collaborate closely with the client’s technical and engineering teams

Requirements

Location: Remote Anywhere

• Strong experience in Machine Learning / AI
• Hands‑on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Experience building, integrating, or working with MCP servers
• Experience with Databricks
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Experience developing production‑grade applications and services
• Good understanding of software engineering best practices, APIs, testing, and deployment
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Would be a plus:

• Experience with AWS
• Experience with LLM / GenAI solutions
• Experience with RAG, AI agents, or LLM integrations
• Experience with cloud‑based ML platforms and infrastructure
• Experience taking AI/ML solutions from prototype to production
• Experience in banking or financial services
