Mobile Automation + AI Tester
Summary
A 12+12-month contract (NV1 clearance required) via Recruitment Hive for a Federal Government entity in ACT (also QLD/VIC/NSW, hybrid WFH). The tester leads mobile app test automation (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest), builds reusable frameworks, designs testing for AI-enabled features, and integrates tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Salary: $115 - $135 per hour (inc super)
- ACT, QLD, VIC, NSW. WFH hybrid
- 12 + 12-month contract (NV1 security clearance required)
- 5 years demonstrated extensive experience in mobile application testing
Our client, a Federal Government entity is seeking an EL1 Mobile Automation + AI Tester.
About the role - EL1 Mobile Automation + AI Tester
Provide specialist testing and quality engineering expertise across mobile applications and AI-enabled digital solutions within a complex ICT program environment.
Duties - EL1 Mobile Automation + AI Tester
- Lead the design, development, execution and maintenance of automated testing for mobile applications across relevant platforms, devices and operating environments.
- Develop and enhance scalable, reusable and maintainable mobile automation frameworks and automated test suites.
- Develop testing approaches for AI-enabled features and services, including validation of the accuracy, consistency, reliability and expected behaviour of AI-generated outputs.
Skills / Experience - EL1 Mobile Automation + AI Tester
- Experience with mobile automation technologies such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest or comparable frameworks.
- Experience testing generative AI, machine learning or other AI-enabled solutions, including model or output evaluation approaches.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and contemporary DevOps environments.
