Do you have Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent?
In this catering post, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork including electronic returns are completed and submitted accordingly.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs of the residents within the Care Home.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround.
Enhancements are paid for unsociable hours and weekend working.
We currently have a permanent vacancy to join our team in Care Homes across Fife:
Mobile Catering Supervisor working 32.5 hours per week, 52-week contract, on a 4-week rota working 2 weekend on and 2 weekends off.
Enhancements are paid for any weekend working.
You will earn a competitive salary of £26,786.83 - £29,170.80 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
£14.27 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Pay is every 4 weeks.

This work is about ensuring residents are provided with meals throughout the day.
Training on In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post.
The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent is essential?
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
