Job Summary
Operate and maintain mobile cranes safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordination with jobsite personnel.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and cleanliness checks on cranes to ensure operational readiness
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and accurately complete crane and lifting log books following MOM guidelines
- Verify that all lifting gears are in good condition and hold valid certification before use
- Execute assigned tasks within the scope of crane operation as directed by the controller
- Adhere to safe working procedures and site regulations while collaborating effectively with supervisors, safety officers, riggers, and signalmen
- Identify and report any unsafe lifting activities to the controller promptly
- Submit completed delivery orders to the controller in a timely manner
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Class 5 driving license
- Possess a Mobile Crane Operator license issued by MOM with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating 60 to 100 ton mobile cranes across various brands
