Mobile Developer - Android

This is for a Software Engineer- Android role at Aakash Technology Innovation Lab in Hyderabad. Aakash, backed by Blackstone, is India's leading test-prep institution. The Innovation Lab aims to transform education through immersive, accessible, and tech-enabled learning. The purpose of the role is to build and maintain scalable, high-performing mobile applications for a hybrid learning journey.

Responsibilities:

• designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile apps using React Native and Native Android (Kotlin/Java). The role involves architecting clean, scalable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working across the entire app lifecycle.
• Responsibilities also cover ensuring quality, optimizing performance, integrating RESTful APIs, and staying updated with mobile development trends.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of mobile development experience with strong hands-on expertise in both React Native and Native Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Deep knowledge of app performance optimization, debugging, and familiarity with app store deployment processes are essential.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Git, and Agile methodologies is also required.
