Senior mobile developer building and maintaining enterprise Android (Java) and iOS (Swift) apps for a leading international oil company client, covering the full app lifecycle including CI/CD and release, plus some backend/web work with Java/Spring Boot or Angular. Hybrid role based in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra.
Emagine is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join a collaborative and dynamic project environment in Portugal. This role is ideal for an experienced mobile developer with strong hands-on expertise across both Android and iOS development, looking to work on enterprise mobile solutions for a leading international oil company.
You will be involved in the full mobile application lifecycle, from development and integration to testing, release, and maintenance. You will work across Android and iOS technologies while collaborating with technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality mobile solutions.
What You'll Be Working On
Develop and maintain mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
Work across the full application lifecycle, from development and integration to testing, release, and maintenance.
Develop Android applications using Java and iOS applications using Swift.
Contribute to backend and web development using Java/Spring Boot or Angular.
Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, test, and continuously improve mobile solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD and automated integration processes for mobile applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across mobile and application environments.
Apply software development best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional experience in Android development using Java.
5+ years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift.
5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot or Angular.
Strong experience across the full mobile application development lifecycle.
Experience developing and maintaining production mobile applications.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work across both Android and iOS ecosystems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
English proficiency at C1 level or above.
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD integration for iOS and Android using GitHub Actions.
Experience with React Native and/or Flutter.
Experience with mobile application automation and release processes.
Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments.
Location & Eligibility
Candidates must be based in Portugal.
Hybrid working model, with at least 1 day per week onsite.
Work locations: Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra.
