Mobile Developer (Bilingual English/Mandarin)

We are an awarded Australian online FX & CFD trading platform. Since 2013, ETO Group has been fully regulated by ASIC. We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Tech Lead with expertise in cross-platform development (React Native/Next.js) and native mobile engineering (iOS/Android) to build a large-scale trading platform similar to Futu NiuNiu or Interactive Brokers. You will lead architecture design, native integration, and performance optimization to deliver a secure, high-performance trading experience across mobile and web.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cross-platform trading applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and user experience meet enterprise-grade standards.

• Architect and implement hybrid mobile solutions with React Native, while integrating native modules for advanced functionalities (biometrics, push notifications, low-latency data feeds, in-app payments, real-time charts).

• Develop, optimize, and maintain native components in iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java), ensuring smooth interoperability with React Native.

• Collaborate with backend teams to design secure and efficient APIs for trading operations (stocks, futures, CFDs, crypto).

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure with AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Aurora, CloudWatch) and Vercel.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerized deployments (Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Work closely with designers to deliver UI/UX consistent with Material Design principles and optimized for financial trading.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React Native and Flutter, with strong experience building production-grade apps.

• Solid native mobile development experience:

• iOS: Swift/Objective-C, UIKit, Core Data, Push Notifications, App Store distribution.

• Android: Kotlin/Java, Jetpack, Gradle, Play Store deployment.

• Proven ability to integrate native SDKs (payment gateways, biometric authentication, market data feeds, analytics) into hybrid apps.

• Familiarity with low-latency, real-time data streaming and high-concurrency systems (critical for trading apps).

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel) and containerization (Docker).

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and API lifecycle management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly desirable for team collaboration.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience building or leading development of trading/fintech apps (stocks, futures, CFDs, crypto).

• Knowledge of financial regulations, data compliance, and security in fintech environments.

• Contributions to open-source or fintech-related projects.
