Summary
Blackroc is seeking a Mobile Developer to build and maintain cross-platform iOS and Android applications using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo. The role involves integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring accessibility compliance, and collaborating within an Agile team.
We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer with strong React Native and TypeScript experience across iOS and Android. Experience with Expo and bridging React Native to native technologies including Kotlin, Java, Swift and Objective-C is highly regarded.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, Business Analysts, Project Leads and technical teams to deliver secure, accessible and high-quality mobile solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, Business Analysts, Project Leads and technical teams to deliver secure, accessible and high-quality mobile solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy and support mobile applications across iOS and Android.
- Integrate applications with backend services using REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Build accessible applications aligned with WCAG 2.1 and Apple/Google accessibility standards.
- Write automated tests and work closely with QA teams on integration and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality, scalable code.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Project Leads and technical teams in an Agile environment.
- Contribute across the SDLC, from technical design through to development, deployment and ongoing support.
- Extensive React Native and TypeScript experience developing for both iOS and Android.
- Strong Expo experience, ideally including Expo Modules.
- Experience bridging React Native with Kotlin, Java, Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience working with large and complex codebases.
- Strong mobile accessibility experience, including WCAG 2.1.
- Experience with automated unit, component, integration and functional testing.
- Strong API integration experience using REST and GraphQL.
- Experience translating UI/UX designs into mobile applications.
- AI development tooling and spec-driven development.
- GitHub CI/CD, Artifactory and HashiCorp Vault.
- Backend development using Golang or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
