As a Mobile DevOps Release Manager, you'll manage the compilation, configuration, and deployment of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. Your role will involve ensuring seamless CI/CD processes, coordinating between different development teams, and ensuring compliance with platform guidelines to deliver high-quality software releases.
Goals
- Oversee the build and deployment of mobile applications to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Improve CI/CD processes to increase build automation and deployment speed.
- Ensure compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and marketing teams to define build and release strategies and manage build release and meta information uploading.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Create and manage detailed scripts for build automation and app deployment.
- Strategically define the release roadmap, aligning with business objectives and timelines.
- Drive the release process from build compilation to app store submission, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines.
- Report release status to stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and milestones.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a similar role within a software development environment.
- Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Bitrise.io, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with build automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
- Familiarity with mobile app development and deployment processes for iOS and Android.
- Experience managing certificates, provisioning profiles, and app IDs for both Apple and Google ecosystems.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
