Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Mobile Diesel/Equipment Mechanic:
The position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair for trucks, trailers, as well as Company equipment. Must be able to locate and repair defects in electrical control systems and equipment while documenting troubleshooting.

Mobile Mechanic Duties:

• MaintMaintain and repair trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed
• Electronic troubleshooting utilizing manufacturer computer applications.
• Locate and repair defects in electrical control systems and equipment.
• Perform scheduled and timely maintenance.
• Perform timely and accurate troubleshooting.
• Document troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Mobile Mechanic Qualifications:

• Class A CDL
• Experience in trouble shooting and repairs of power systems, electrical, brake, suspension, air systems, clutches, steering assemblies, refrigeration systems and all other truck/trailer related components
• Proven experience/knowledge of diesel engines as well as hydraulic and computer control systems on equipment
• Knowledge of computer use with maintenance and repairs
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Welding experience
• History of organizing and prioritizing work-flow
