Mobile Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Build new features and initiatives across mobile applications and backend systems.
• Manage deployments, performance optimization, push notifications, and related engineering activities.
• Set up and maintain tools and workflows that improve engineering productivity and delivery quality.
• Participate in product and design reviews to ensure high-quality engineering deliverables.
• Continuously improve the team's technical capabilities by staying updated with evolving technologies and AI-powered tools.
• Make decisions that balance speed to production with the quality and scalability required today.
• Prioritize smooth communication, ownership, and agility in all aspects of work.

Requirements:

• Ideally, 2-4 years of experience in mobile app development and backend engineering using React Native and Node.js/NestJS.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals. A passion for great architecture, engineering best practices, and writing scalable, maintainable code.
• Experience using AI in workflows beyond basic prompting, including skills, plugins, workflows, loops, and agents.
• Mobile Engineering Skills: Ability to build high-quality UIs with smooth animations.
• Experience handling mobile app challenges, including performance optimization, optimized app builds, and push notifications.
• Bonus: Experience writing bridges, developing widgets, or building custom libraries.

Software Engineering Skills:

• Experience building CRUD APIs.
• Knowledge of Redis, queues, and caching.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Understanding of rate limiting, scalability, and security fundamentals.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bonus: Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Preferred: Generative AI Engineering Skills.
• Strong advantage if you have worked with traditional AI/ML techniques or model training.
• Experience building production-grade AI pipelines.
• Experience developing agentic workflows covering requirement gathering, planning, and execution.
• Experience working with voice agents.
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies such as high-quality RAG systems, knowledge graphs, and tooling.
• Additional Bonus: Previous experience working with Python.
