Mobile Equipment Mechanic
OTC Fleet Services is hiring a dependable Mobile Equipment Mechanic to serve the Lancaster area. This hybrid position combines on-site work with local travel to service forklifts, pallet trucks, and lifts for our commercial clients. Main Duties:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile equipment: forklifts, pallet trucks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts
- Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment
- Work independently in the field and manage assigned jobs
- Typical start time: 6:00 AM, following the initial training period
Requirements:
- Previous experience with forklifts, lifts, or heavy equipment repairs
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system knowledge (6–48 volt)
- Experience with mobile service work preferred
- Provide your own hand and power tools (up to ½” drive)
- Clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills; ability to manage electronic work orders
- Dependable, self-motivated, and professional demeanor
- Stable work history
