Job Summary
Responsible for production needs as appropriate for assignment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsible for actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives of the facility
Drive Forklift and/or other industrial equipment
Must understand and adhere to all requirements of the Company’s Powered Industrial Truck Program
Keep accurate and precise counts on material loaded, unloaded, or moved
Operate a handheld scan gun to track material movement and location
Load/unload trucks
Move material to corresponding departments
Mop, sweep, clean all areas assigned
Notify Supervisor or Lead Person of needed items
Visually inspect parts
Accurately measure or weight parts as required
Band material with a manual or electric bander
Assist other departments when needed
Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies
Maintain general housekeeping and orderly work area(s)
Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance at the worksite for the duration of scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime
Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards
Maintain professional, cooperative, respectful and ethical conduct when interacting with coworkers, customers, vendors and the public
Meet established productivity, quality, accuracy and performance standards while completing assigned work in a timely manner
Effectively and consistently support the company mission, vision and values
Responsible for all other duties, procedures and instructions as required by the job function, or as assigned, to meet organizational needs
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Skills and Abilities
Requires the ability to read & write
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to successfully pass a written exam and physical observation test for an Industrial Truck Permit
The ability to adjust to changing job functions
Capable of working well with co-workers of different cultural backgrounds

Working Conditions
This position primarily operates in a manufacturing environment where exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying temperatures is common. Employees may also be exposed to dust, fumes, and other airborne particles. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or climb during shift
Regularly required to talk and hear
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently
Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment as necessary
Visual and manual dexterity is required to inspect and handle products/materials
Work Schedule:
The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime, weekend shifts, or varying schedules as production demands
Break periods will align with the company’s manufacturing policies
Work schedules may change based on business needs
Safety Requirements:
Employees are expected to comply with all safety policies/practices/guidelines and actively participate in maintaining a safe workplace
Participation in safety training and adherence to safety procedures (e.g. lockout/tagout) is required
Additional Conditions:
Exposure to repetitive tasks and fast-paced production lines is common
May involve prolonged periods of standing and performing the same motion repeatedly
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights when required
