Mobile Equipment Operator

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Camp Stanley Storage Activity. This position serves as a Mobile Equipment Operator operating a wide variety of equipment and power and hand tools.

Operate four-wheel farm equipment with assorted attachments to perform general grounds maintenance.

Shape, prune, top, or remove trees and shrubs.

Trim trees to prevent powerline encroachment from a 10-ton aerial platform truck.

Inspect material handling equipment and attachments and perform preventive maintenance.

Maneuver construction equipment within close tolerances when maintaining grounds.

Connect, tow, adjust, and position mobile equipment in confined areas and under difficult conditions.
