MOBILE EQUIPMENT SERVICER

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby Shop, Beale AFB, CA. This role is for Regular Full-Time employment, offering benefits and ensuring a minimum of 35 hours of work weekly, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week Frequent bending, reaching, and working in awkward positions when performing work in lube pits or from car racks. Occasional heavy lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Drains and changes lubricants in crank cases, differentials and transmissions, lubricates vehicles and replaces oil and filters. Replaces accessories such as rear view mirrors, rotates, replaces and/or repairs tube and tubeless tires with plugger or hot or cold patch. Services brakes (pads and rotors), checks components such as spark plugs, wires, rotors, fan belts, tail pipes, mufflers, hoses and similar items, adjusting or repairing when necessary. Uses hand tools as necessary, and uses a limited variety of test equipment. Maintains records and inventory.
