Mobile Maintenance Technician

Summary
Perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment like forklifts and cranes, ensuring safety and minimal downtime.
What you’re responsible for:
- Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics on various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, loaders, and cranes, to identify mechanical issues.
- Performing repairs and routine maintenance on equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Maintaining necessary parts, tools, and supplies to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
- Maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance work, and parts used. Completing service reports and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Adhering to safety regulations and protocols while working on equipment. Follow company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Working closely with other mechanics, operators, and supervisors to resolve equipment issues and support overall team objectives.
To join our team:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a heavy equipment mechanic or in a similar role or Completion of a Diesel Technician program or school.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Experience with various types of heavy equipment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM-specific certifications) are a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks.
