Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., a multi-state mining, mineral processing and construction materials company, is looking for a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this vital position, you’ll maintain and repair mobile equipment crucial to operations. From light vehicles to heavy-duty mining machinery, your expertise will ensure operational efficiency and safety!

About the Role

As a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic your responsibilities will include:

• Performing regular maintenance and repairs on equipment like haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and concrete trucks.

• Conducting preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and overhauls to predict and address mechanical issues.

• Operating heavy machinery as needed, such as front-end loaders, forklifts, and bobcats.

• Maintaining detailed service records and adhering to all safety protocols.

What We're Looking For

• At least five years of mechanic experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to read manuals and follow SOPs. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

• Your own set of tools to perform the required tasks.

• A valid driver’s license is required; a CDL is a bonus.

• Capability to lift and handle up to 75 lbs., work in varying conditions, and use necessary safety equipment.

• Awareness of and adherence to safety standards and ability to respond promptly to hazards.

• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check, drug screening and medical exam.
