our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Mobile
Operations Manager to work in Tanzania,
Dar es salaam.
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Kenyan mobile
money professional to relocate to Tanzania and manage large-scale super dealer
operations, including 4,000+ wakalas, float management, KPI performance, and
operational controls.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establish and manage
scalable mobile money super dealer operations in Tanzania, including SOPs,
agent/wakala management, float control, and service delivery.
· Ensure regulatory,
operational, and SLA compliance, while resolving escalated operational, technical,
float, and customer issues with key stakeholders.
· Drive wakala onboarding,
training, performance management, customer journey optimization, and complaint
resolution to increase adoption and transaction growth.
· Oversee system testing,
UAT, and incident resolution, while mentoring local Tanzanian teams to ensure
operational continuity and excellence.

restructuring super dealer or national agent networks
· Project or operations
management background
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
· Proven experience in
mobile money or digital payments operations
· Leadership experience
managing large agent or wakala networks
· Strong expertise in
super dealer operations, float management, and KPI delivery
· Demonstrated experience
in wakala onboarding, training, and performance management
· Solid understanding of
mobile money regulatory and operational frameworks
· Strong Excel, reporting,
and data analysis skills
· Willingness and ability
to relocate from Kenya to Tanzania and support local team development
