Blue Line Security Solutions is seeking vigilant, professional, and reliable individuals to join our team as Unarmed Mobile Security Officers in Jackson, Tennessee. This position requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain a calm, professional presence across a variety of environments.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of our client's personnel, premises, and assets while maintaining a strong, professional security presence and delivering excellent customer service. Because this is a driving-based security position, candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain active auto insurance, have a clean driving record, and have reliable transportation. This position requires transporting a client in the back seat of your personal vehicle for the duration of each shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible, professional security presence to protect client personnel, property, and assets in accordance with the Tennessee Private Protective Services Licensing and Regulatory Act (Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-35)
  • Use your personal vehicle for the entirety of each assigned shift to transport the client to scheduled appointments. Continuous driving is an essential function of this position
  • Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises to detect and deter unauthorized activity
  • Monitor access points and enforce site-specific access control procedures
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, or accidents
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, tenants, and clients
  • Exercise sound judgment regarding detention authority — Tennessee security officers are not law enforcement and are limited to citizen's-arrest/shopkeeper's-privilege authority, with force used only when proportional and reasonable
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
  • Follow all company policies, client site procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Participate in ongoing required training, including any site-specific training
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
