About This Position
Localytics is seeking a talented software engineer to help us improve and expand the capabilities of our analytics and marketing SDKs. A successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to ship code that will help power the world’s best apps across Localytics’ 1 billion device install base.
With SDKs on all major platforms, an ideal candidate will have a depth of native development experience with Android and/or iOS, as well as an eagerness for learning new platforms and technologies.
Responsibilities
Design and develop new features for Localytics mobile SDKs on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows 8, mobile web, and more.
Develop automation frameworks and conduct necessary test passes before each SDK release.
Work with our support and services teams to patch bugs, update documentation, develop custom SDK features, and troubleshoot escalated customer issues.
Requirements
Bachelors in Computer Science / related field or equivalent work experience
Experience developing and shipping native mobile apps on iOS or Android
Strong technical skills and experience working with web services
A demonstrated curiosity for learning new languages and platforms
Nice to Have
Contributions to open source projects
Experience with Agile / Test Driven Development
Familiarity with C#, C, C++, or JavaScript
Experience developing public-facing APIs
