Mobile Technician - Facilities Maintenance and Repairs
Summary
Perform on-site maintenance and repairs for building systems, including lighting, flooring, ceilings, and glass, while managing work orders and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
As PHFM Mobile Technician/Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
· Painting ground and high level
· Lighting installation to include fixtures, bulbs, ballasts
· Flooring removal and installation inclusive of VCT, Porcelain, and Carpet
· Ceiling repairs and diversion installation
· Glass repairs, replacement, and board up
· Pre and post storm preparation when/where applicable
· Work required to be performed in most instances overnight, with ability to respond to daytime requests
· Assist in site decommissioning with removal of all fixtures and signage.
· Perform handyman inspections in adherence to the scope of work at the pre-determined cadence.
· Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Will manage and track completion.
· Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
· Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
· Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
· Operate company-issued vehicle in the execution of daily work responsibilities
· Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
· Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
· Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
· Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
