Mobile Test Engineer

Zensar Technologies Limited is looking for a seasoned Mobile Test Engineer to drive quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile applications. The role involves designing automated Detox test suites, executing comprehensive manual and automated tests, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines within an Agile environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated Detox test scripts for React Native applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing on Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Validate application performance, usability, and stability across multiple devices and OS versions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.

• 8+ years of experience in mobile testing and QA automation.
• Hands‑on experience testing React Native applications.
• Expertise with Detox for end‑to‑end automation testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of Android and iOS mobile ecosystems.
• Experience with Jira (or similar) for test management and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
