Mobile Unit Driver
Summary
Operates a mobile healthcare unit to deliver patient care at outreach sites, ensuring vehicle readiness, safety, and supplies.
- Drives Mobile Unit to designated site and ensures operational utility support such as commercial power, water and sanitation.
- Ensures cleanliness of Mobile Unit and maintenance of on board clinic equipment, and arranges for repair as needed.
- Ensures Mobil Unit is loaded with necessary supplies for each medical mission or sponsored event.
- Assists with tracking inventory and other Unit administrative responsibilities.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Compliant and knowledgeable of all safety guidelines and applicable traffic laws.
- Ability to develop and maintain defensive driving skills and operate mobile unit in a safe and efficient manner.
- Strong sense of direction and a thorough knowledge of surrounding area layout and routes.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner.
- Must maintain a good driving record consistent with institutional policy.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Texas Commercial Driver's License (TCDL) class B is required.
