Mobilisation Manager

New

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday core business hours - some weekends
Job ID: 7572
Ready to turn big wins into brilliant launches?

We’re looking for a Mobilisation Manager to take the lead on bringing new contracts to life — from the moment a deal is signed through to a seamless opening and beyond.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll be the driving force behind successful mobilisation, connecting teams, clients, suppliers and stakeholders to make sure every detail is ready when it matters. You’ll own the mobilisation roadmap, keep projects moving, solve problems before they become issues and make sure our sites open ready, compliant and set up for success.

And it doesn’t stop at day one. You’ll stay close to new accounts through their first 100 days, helping embed strong operational foundations before supporting the longer-term relationship and retention journey.

If you love bringing people together, thrive on making things happen and get a genuine buzz from seeing a complex project come together — this could be your next big move.

What you’ll be serving up…

Owning the mobilisation journey from sales handover through to go-live, building clear project plans, timelines, milestones and critical paths.
Leading the conversation — chairing mobilisation kick-offs, running client calls and keeping everyone focused on what needs to happen, when and by whom.
Turning promises into reality, making sure every bid commitment, menu promise, financial target and client requirement is captured and delivered.
Bringing teams together, coordinating colleagues across Operations, Supply Chain, Culinary, IT, HR, Safety & Wellbeing, Marketing, Legal and more.
Keeping projects moving, proactively identifying risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks and taking action before they impact launch.
Making opening day count, overseeing everything from equipment and vending to stock, uniforms, technology, signage, training and site readiness.
Being hands-on when it matters, supporting teams both on-site and remotely to make sure colleagues have the knowledge, tools and confidence to deliver from day one.
Leading the first 100 days, using Day 7, Day 14 and Day 30 reviews to identify issues, embed controls and drive actions through to completion.
Creating clean handovers, ensuring sites are genuinely operationally ready before responsibility transfers into Operations.
Protecting our client relationships, maintaining structured post-launch reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen service, innovate and secure long-term retention.
Juggling multiple projects at pace, with the opportunity to manage up to eight mobilisations per quarter across a nationwide portfolio.

Ultimately, you’ll be the person making sure nothing falls through the cracks — and that when we open a new account, we do it brilliantly.

The ingredients you’ll bring…

Proven experience in multi-site project management, mobilisation or operations, ideally within contract catering, facilities management or another fast-paced service environment.
Strong understanding of operational compliance, including areas such as TUPE, food safety, allergen controls, PPDS, risk assessments and mandatory training.
A natural ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders, bringing people with you even when priorities compete.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to build and maintain detailed plans, manage critical paths and keep actions moving.
Strong digital and IT skills, with confidence using project management and tracking tools to keep information accurate and visible.
Outstanding organisation and administrative discipline — you’ll be comfortable managing a high volume of moving parts without losing sight of the detail.
Confident communication skills and the ability to build credibility with clients, senior stakeholders and operational teams.
A proactive mindset — you don’t wait for problems to land; you spot them early and work out how to fix them.
The resilience and flexibility to work under pressure, manage changing priorities and operate across a UK-wide portfolio.
Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, ownership and a genuine drive to make things happen.

If you’re ready to take ownership of high-profile projects, bring new business to life and play a key role in setting our sites — and our clients — up for success, we’d love to hear from you.
