MOC Field Project Engineer

Field engineer reviews and closes Management of Change (MOC) requests for a chemical plant, verifying documents, drawings, and compliance in a refinery environment.
Burrow Global is seeking to hire a MOC Field Project Engineer for a 6 month assignment with a chemical plant in Pasadena, TX . We are seeking candidates with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Electrical engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering or project management, with at least 1 year of experience working in a refinery environment dealing with and managing MOC requests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing MOC requests to confirm they have been completed.
- Verifying P&ID updates
- Completing / verify data sheets,
- Verify equipment specification sheets updates
- Update documents, update engineering drawings
- Gather remaining data to close out a project MOC folder.
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Electrical engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering or project management, with at least 1 year of experience working in a refinery environment dealing with and managing MOC requests.
Skills required:
- Ability to communicate and interact with other disciplines.
- Proficient project coordination and management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret company policies, regulatory guidelines, and other work-related documentation.
- Ability to abide by confidentiality requirements when working with sensitive information, results, and communications.
