Kineton in Torino, Italy, is seeking a motivated MBD Engineer to join the Software Design team onsite. You will design, develop, and validate control software for automotive systems, applying model-based methods across the full software lifecycle.
The role emphasizes MATLAB/Simulink work, code generation with Embedded Coder, and MIL/SIL testing. Fluency in English is required; on-site work in Torino with a competitive salary.
Design and develop control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink. Generate C/C++ code with Embedded Coder and build scripts. Conduct MIL/SIL/Unit tests to verify logic. Automate development using Python or MATLAB scripts. Collaborate with hardware and electronics teams for board bring-up. Translate system requirements into executable models and test cases. Master's degree in Mechatronics, Controls, Electrical or Software Engineering. 3+ years experience in model-based design. Expert with MathWorks suite: Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder. Experience in e-mobility powertrain control systems. Fluent English language.
