Module Lead - Agentic AI & Data Science

Experience: 6+ Yrs

Primary Skills (Must have hands on Experience):

• Strong Python engineering experience (6+ years)
• 6+ years of expertise in FastAPI / backend API development
• 6+ years of experience building LLM/GenAI solutions in production
• 2-3 years of experience in RAG, langfuse, observability, vector databases, prompt engineering
• 3-5 years experience on Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI search, function apps, webapp etc)
• 3-5 years of experience ein CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

Role & responsibilities :

As a Generative AI Module Lead, you will lead the hands-on development and delivery of enterprise-grade LLM/GenAI applications. The role requires strong expertise in Python, FastAPI/backend APIs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering and evaluation, and LLM observability, along with experience integrating modern frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

• Strong hands-on Python engineering experience (6+ years) with solid software development and coding practices.
• Strong expertise in FastAPI / backend API development, building scalable APIs and backend services.
• Proven experience in developing and supporting LLM/GenAI solutions in production environments.
• Strong understanding and implementation experience in RAG architectures, including retrieval and generation workflows.
• Experience working with vector databases/search technologies such as Pinecone, OpenSearch, and FAISS.
• Strong experience in prompt engineering, prompt evaluation, and improving the quality and reliability of LLM responses.
• Experience with Langfuse or equivalent LLM observability tools for monitoring and evaluating GenAI applications.
• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks for integration of AI capabilities into application experiences.
• Lead assigned modules through development, integration, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous enhancement.
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews, troubleshooting, development standards, mentoring, and issue resolution.
• Ensure delivered GenAI capabilities meet expectations around performance, reliability, maintainability, observability, and production stability.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, frontend, and other engineering teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules while remaining actively involved in hands-on coding and technical problem solving.
