Mohs Technician
Summary
Prepares and processes tissue samples in a dermatology lab, maintains equipment and inventory, and works part-time Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Use maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, keep a clean and disinfected work area
- Prepare tissue samples by fixing, staining, dying and other methods
- Maintain inventory of supplies, material and equipment
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to work independently and with other team members
Job Type:
- Part-time: Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 7:45am-2pm
Experience:
- Mohs or Medical Assistant experience preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
- HT(ASCP) preferred not required
