Molder

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to understand the functions and operate the molding machine.
• Must be able setup molding machines.
• Must be able to maintain production standards.
• Must be able to handle and set cores in a manner not to damage them.
• Must be able to insert production counts in ShopVue.
• Must keep work area and department clean.
• Must wear required PPE and follow company rules.
• Must work and follow all safety procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, and use arms and hands continuously throughout the shift.
• Repetitive motion required.

Qualifications:

• Understands safety policy.
• Must be able to make minor adjustments for certain jobs and patterns.
• Must be able to identify quality issues.
• Must be able to blow out before and after the setting of cores.
• Must be able to hold and set cores in the mold.
• Understands written and verbal Work Instructions
• Work 10 hrs. or more a day, including weekends if needed.
• Strong focus on safety, risk avoidance and situational awareness.
